MEET JAY

Jay Luneau was elected to represent District 29 in 2015. 


Jay is a small-business owner and the senior partner in the Luneau Beck law firm which represents individuals and small businesses in a wide variety of cases in the areas of personal injury, worker’s compensation and other damage claims. Jay volunteers as a legal counsel for Renaissance Home for Youth.


Jay has previously served as a proud member of a number of organizations including the Rapides Children’s Advocacy Center CASA program, Renaissance Home for the Youth, Board of Directors for Rapides Parish Indigent Defender Board, and the Central Louisiana Pro Bono Program


He also previously served as an adjunct professor for Northwestern State University, teaching law related courses. Jay is a lifelong resident of Central Louisiana. He is also a graduate of Pineville High School, Louisiana Tech University, and Southern Law Center.


He and his wife, Carman, have two children, Merritt and Wendell Jr, as well as a son-in-law, Tyler Hebert, and a granddaughter, Greer.
